A little more about Samantha…

Decisions are made daily, some are good, some bad, and some can determine how your next 2-8 years will play out. Choosing a college, well, that’s a big decision. I’ve always been ahead of the game when it comes to college searching, and as a junior I’ve narrowed my decision down to between two. As far as a major and a career to go into though, well, I’m clueless. I know my strengths and I know my likes and dislikes, it’s just hard to make a decision that you know will impact your entire life. Think about it, if I were to major in Engineering, then I’m destined to be an engineer until retirement.
If I were to choose Computer Sciences, I’ll be sitting at a computer for the rest of my life. The scariest part of it all is, what if I make the wrong decision? What if I end up hating my job? At times I feel like I have it all figured out, but at others I feel like it’s a helpless cause. Sometimes I feel like I just need to focus on my future and figure out what I want to do, and yet at others I feel like I just need to live in the present and let whatever happens, happen. I know I’m not the only one out there that feels like this, it’s a scary process, but I know that in the end, hopefully, I’ll be happy with the outcome.
