East Coast College Touring Day 8 8/20/2011

Woke up bright and early at 7:30 am to begin our drive from Niagara Falls back into the US borders and into Pittsburgh! Long 5 hour drive, so no college visits today.

Instead, we checked into the hotel, then ate lunch across the street. We then went to the Andy Warhol museum, discovered it closed on Mondays -_-‘ then ended up going to the Heinz History Museum. Yep. Everything is owned by Heinz here… museums, buildings, even sports areas. This particular museum had lots of random stuff. From the glass industry of Pittsburgh to the first black newspaper to an exhibit on Heinz company itself! After spending an afternoon at the museum, we returned back to the hotel… for a nice nap 😛 Woke up at 7:30pm and walked to a place called Lidia’s Italy for dinner. We got lost and went the opposite way so it took us like… 20 mins to walk there when it really should have taken us 8 mins.

Anyways, just got back from a filling dinner. Tomorrow? Visiting Carnegie Mellon University!

I see you've taken up an interest with studying the dork species? Well, here you'll find the best dork to study. Her name is Ashley. She's fresh meat at Syracuse University. Here, you can see the college experiences of the dork. Maybe a better understanding of such a species can help fight world hunger, battle cancer, or even better: be cool.
