Eboni did an outstanding portrayal of Sofia in Tri Cities High School’s production of “The Color Purple.” I saw a traveling troupe starring Fantasia perform the same show a couple years ago, and I believe the Tri Cities performance was just as good. Eboni Finklea’s Sofia was energetic, strong, and memorable. Her acting & musical talents & enthusiasm more than compensated for her youth and limited life experience in such an adult role. She was great!!
